Ma'ah the Spirit Bear
Ma'ah is the star of the new IMAX movie Great Bear Rainforest Land of the Spirit Bears and also graced the cover of the National Geographic magazine in 2011 for Paul Nicklen's article. She is a Kermode bear which is a subspecies of the American black bear with a recessive genetic trait that makes her fur almost white. The Spirit bear is extremely rare with only 200-400 in existence.
